What is CrossFit?

At Crossfit Eado, Crossfit means community. Crossfit also means getting into AMAZING shape. Our workouts are scalable to every type of athlete, from the beginner to the veteran. These workouts consist of constantly varied, functional movements, executed at a high intensity, all the while keeping environment fun and friendly.

Do I need any experience or have a minimal level of fitness?

No, Crossfit is for everyone, regardless of one's level of fitness. Our members range from professional Crossfit Games athletes, to athletes who before Crossfit, have never been athletic in their entire life.

What if I'm really out of shape?

You have nothing to worry about. A lot of people who have come before you, also came "really out of shape", and now most of them are in the best shape of their lives.

Is CrossFit too intense for me?

By no means is Crossfit too intense for you. The beauty of Crossfit  is that EVERYTHING is scalable. Every athlete will have different fitness goals and at Crossfit Eado we provide the environment and training for the athlete to be as intense as he or she wants to in order to obtain these goals.

I have a pre-existing injury. Can I still CrossFit?

We cannot offer you medical advice, and we would advise you consult your physician before starting this (or any other exercise program). With that being said, many athletes have successfully used Crossfit as a form of rehabilitation for new or existing injuries. As the emphasis of Crossfit is on functional fitness, doing movements that we do on an everyday basis (standing, sitting, jumping, lifting etc...), we believe long-term health        resides in perfecting these movements we use day in and day out.

I don't want to get muscular or too bulky looking.

Not to worry. It takes years of strict dieting and training, basically a full time commitment, to even begin to look "too muscular, or too bulky looking".

When is the Free Trial Class?

     Mondays   7:00PM

     Thursdays 6:30PM

     Saturday  10:00AM

What exactly happens in the Free Trial Class?

Our Free Trial class contains a quick summary of the concepts behind Crossfit. We will teach you the perfect form of a couple functional movements, which you will then have to use in a Crossfit workout.  To ensure your safety in this workout you will strictly be doing body weight movements.

What do I need to bring?

Besides yourself, and a enthusiastic attitude, ready to have fun, all you need is to come in comfortable workout attire (t-shirt, shorts/sweats, and sneakers). Everything else we will facilitate.

I haven't per say done CrossFit but consider myself to be FIT and want to skip the CrossFit 101 course, Can I do that?

No. At Crossfit Eado, we require all athletes new to CrossFit to go through the Crossfit 101 course. Even if you are "fit", this class will help you be even more fluid and effective in the technique of the movements. This also ensures that in the regular WOD classes later on, everyone is on the same page, as a common foundation has been established across the board.

I really want to do the 101 Course but can't make it to all of the classes, what options do I have? Private lessons?

Yes, we can provide private lessons, for the 101 course if you cannot make it to all of the classes. *Please do contact us ahead of time if you can make it to the majority of classes.  We will try to do our best to accommodate you being able to experience the 101 course with the group.

Can I come and work out by myself?

No. At Crossfit Eado, we require all athletes new to CrossFit to go through the Crossfit 101 course. What accommodations do you have for children?

We currently do not have childcare.  However, we do have glass enclosed space that is used as an athlete lounge and retail space.  We have couches, a table with chairs and a TV that your young one is more than welcome to sit at and wait while you workout.  You can easily view into this space from the area you will be working out.
